A Music-Visualization Device Helps Relax City Stress
Mood Soother is an interactive musical device that applies music therapy and sound visualization to help people relax from city stress and reduce their negative feelings of irritability, depression, and anxiety. This project builds a relaxed musical score enhanced with sounds from nature accompanied by dynamically generated moving shapes.
Music & Nature therapy
Mood Soother uses soft piano music as the main melody and combines different natural sounds from rain, wind, woods, sea to create a tranquil and relaxing atmosphere for the users.
Sound Visualization
It can also visualize the sound from the user or the surrounding environment to help the user ind a more suitable environment for their relaxation. Different sounds will present different visualizations. The smoother the visualized curves are, the more soothing and calming it will be for the current music and sound environment.
